Built for your individual oral care needs, FlexCare offers three different cleaning modes and two routines to enhance your brushing experience.
Three modes include:
Clean – for maximum cleaning efficacy
Sensitive – for those with sensitive teeth and gums
Massage – to stimulate gums with a invigorating and pulsing motion
Routines include:
MaxCare – which delivers a 3-minute, thorough, full-mouth clean
GoCare – for a quick 1-minute clean between regular brushings
The new ProResults brush head works in a broad sweeping motion with contour fit bristles to help increase tooth coverage. This, combined with Sonicare’s patented sonic technology, creates a high speed bristle motion that allows a powerful but gentle dynamic cleaning action, ensuring a deep clean between teeth and along the gum line. Additional features include a 30 percent smaller and lighter design and an 80 percent reduction in vibration (compared to Sonicare Elite).
The specially engineered UV sanitizer helps to eliminate bacteria commonly found on your toothbrush. Simply place the brush head in the FlexCare sanitizing unit, and with a single push of a button, your brush will be sanitized. The UV Sanitizer utilizes similar ultraviolet technology used in hospitals to clean and store your toothbrush so you know it is always ready for the next use.
2-year Warranty
The FlexCare comes with a 2-year warranty, but remember to replace your brush head at least every three months for optimal results.

User Ratings and Reviews
5 Stars Simply a great toothbrush (and quiet!)
I’ve owned this brush for about two weeks. It was an upgrade from one of those cheaper Crest Spin brushes. It has worked just fine and the automatic timer feature is really nice. I was also pleased to see it comes with two charging cords. One for the larger base unit, and a minimal charger cord that is easy to pack for traveling with the brush.
I did not find the brush action irritating at all when using it and noise was not an issue. I had been concerned by a few reviews that said it was noisy — it was quieter than the Spin Brush.
Most importantly, it does a great brushing job. It was easy to feel the difference.
I’m quite happy with it.
1 Star Failed in less than a year. I’m going to try Cybersonic
I bought one of these about a year ago at my dentist’s office. I’ve been using it in the morning by itself and in the evening combined with a Braun/Oral B which is better at scrubbing off the plack on my molars near the gums. It’s been good up till yesterday when it ran weakly for about 10 seconds and stopped and won’t run now. Always kept it in the charger. I’ve been reading the one-star reviews here on Amazon and I see that a lot of people have had the same experience as I. I spent a lot of time on the phone trying various numbers I was given and never got a number that works for tech support.
Some Sonicare reviewers recommend similar brushes by Interplak and the Cybersonic 2. I’m going to try one or both of these. What I’ve got now is a piece of toxic waste that can’t be recycled.
It looks like the Cybersonic 2 is similar to and superior to the Sonicare: it cycles at a higher speed and lasts longer. And the Interplak is similar to and superior to the Braun/Oral B brushes: each tuft rotates, rechargeable batteries are apparently replaceable and it’s inexpensive.
3 Stars Good brush, pass on the UV
Got this to replace my previous generation sonicare which finally died after nearly 10 years. The brush itself is great, much smaller and easier to attach to the base, and the kit includes a travel charger which is handy as well. The UV sterilizer seemed like a gimmick, but I had a coupon for this one, so it basically was a free add-in. Too bad it only lasted 3 months… They claim 10 years – what a crock! Of course, it’s not covered under warranty either, and Philips doesn’t even sell replacement bulbs! Good to see a company stand behind their product – at least the brush still works…
Advice? Sonicare is good, but don’t bother with the UV sterilizer… you don’t need it, and it won’t work for very long anyway.
5 Stars top notch
although it’s a bit more, the cheaper, less complex head and the UV sanitizer are well worth it.
3 Stars Arrived with wrong brushes!
Although i was looking forward to a new Philips Sonicare toothbrush, it was extremely frustrating to continually have the brush separate from the base. After several weeks of hating to use the Sonicare, and even returning to an old fashioned toothbrush, I contacted their on-line customer service. Apparently both brushes that came with my Sonicare were incorrect models! As a “one time concession”, the representative agreed to send me one replacement brush. Now the brush works fine, I enjoy cleaning my teeth but I am very disappointed that only one of the brushes was replaced. Not impressed by Sonicare’s packing quality control or their response to this problem.
